Education & Programs

A big part of the work of the Delta Cultural Center is in helping to bring the story of the people, commerce and culture of the Arkansas Delta to students and others across the state and the nation. Working with educators and administrators, this Delta blues museum has helped develop lectures, seminars, lesson plans and printed classroom materials that bring the Arkansas Delta's cultural heritage to life.

The Delta Cultural Center offers a variety of lesson plans in PDF format, including What is the Delta, First Inhabitants of the Delta and many more. We hope these lesson plans will encourage students to learn more about the history of blues music in the Arkansas Delta.
