Delta Cultural Center - Tuesday, May 31, 2016

“Art Golf,” an exhibit by EXHIBITS ON THE GO (EOG), is coming to our town!During June, families can come enjoy a rousing game of mini golf while adding in a little art culture in the process. “Art Golf” is fun for all ages and skill levels. This interactive, family friendly exhibit is sponsored by the Delta Cultural Center.

The exhibit will be open at the Miller Annex, 223 Cherry St., from June 2 – 11. Hours will be from 1 – 7 p.m., except on Sunday, June 5. On that day the hours will be 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. to accommodate the passengers on the American Queen steamboat.

“Art Golf” features a 6 hole mini-golf course with obstacles designed by artists from around the country. Each hole highlights a different artistic medium, its history and some fun facts too. “Art Golf” also features an amazing video performance by speed painter, Dale Henry, who paints a very familiar icon in less than 3 minutes. And, as with all EOG exhibits, visitors will create something they can take home with them.
