Artist Danny Broadway’s new exhibit, “Two Generations Removed,” is on display at the Delta Cultural Center through March 31, 2021. This collection of his work is a contemporary artistic portrayal of African Americans in the early twentieth century Delta.” Located at 141 Cherry Street, in historic downtown Helena, the DCC's hours of operation are Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The public is invited and admission is free.

This installation of Broadway’s offerings are mysteriously intriguing while also communicating a sense of hope and expectancy. According to the artist, who is also descended from ancestors who were sharecroppers that raised cotton in the in the Arkansas Delta, he continues to be inspired by the struggles they endured. This influence on his artistic expression is prominently showcased in what has been a well-received exhibition.

Due to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, all guests will be required to follow social distancing guidelines.  For more information about this exhibition, contact Drew Ulrich, DCC curator at 870.338.4350, or [email protected]
