The Delta Cultural Center will present a live concert by the Kory Montgomery Band on Friday, March 24, 2006. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Miller Hotel, located at 223 Cherry Street in b>historic downtown Helena. The event is free and open to the public.

The Kory Montgomery Band has played numerous festivals and venues throughout the South, several as the opening act for B.B. King. Kory and his band were the winners of the 2005 Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival (formerly the King Biscuit Blues Festival) Emerging Artist Contest and finalists in the 2005 International Blues Challenge.

Montgomery, an Arkansas native, and his band have also been the opening act for Kenny Wayne Shepard, Michael Burks and James Harmon.
