DCC to Host Day Camp

Delta Cultural Center - Thursday, May 11, 2017

Have you ever wondered what life was like 150 years ago? The Delta Cultural is offering a Delta Days Day Camp that will include games, activities, and crafts from this bygone era. The day camp is scheduled June 6 – 9, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and will be held in the Delta Eagle Room at 95 Missouri Street. Participants will learn about pioneer life, the Civil War, steamboats and old-fashioned toys and sports.

Enrollment is free, but registration is required due to limited space. The deadline for registering is May 30. The camp is geared toward children from 10 – 13 years of age. Children may enroll for one class, or all of them.

Contact Richard Spilman, DCC education coordinator, at 870-338-4350 or [email protected] to register, or for more information.
